XP Domain User Account Locked Out Daily

We have one Windows XP user an on a Windows 2000 AD
domain whose user account is locked out every morning.
Prior to even attempting to log the user on, his account
appears locked out in AD. Once unlocked by the
administrator, he works fine all day. He logs out
successfully every evening.

We do have network logon time restrictions in place for
all users that only allow network logons from 6am-9pm, M-
Sat. No other users are experiencing the issue.

Any advise is appreciated.

Microsoft has a tool (Account Lockout and Management Tools) that you can
download for free. With this tool you can pin-point which process or service
or ... is causing the account lockout. Don't forget to read the
documentation first...

Thanks for the response...we'll give it a try. Event
logs on the workstation and domain controller weren't
giving many clues. Actually the user had the issue no
matter what workstation he tried to log into. Processes
appear to be using system accounts, not domain user
accounts...but we must be missing something. Hopefully
this will shed some light.
