I have an office Domain, with many different OSes on it -- Some Win2K, some
Win98SE, and now finally, some XP Pro machines. I also have a network
printer that's set up to look like another box on the network (Fiery
Controller.) The Domain is controlled by a sinigle SBS2003 Server
I Have 3 XP machines that have access to the domain, and all of the
server-based resources. They can see the W2K Machines and the server, but
not any of the other XP machines or the printer. I can ping the printer and
log on to the interal controls by punching the IP into the browser. The XP
machines can only see the Win2K machines on the network. They also can't find
the printer or any of the other XP machines on a name search.
All of the control software for the printer usually gets installed when I
browse to it and double click on it. Right now I have 3 people who can't
access the printer, and I'm not sure if they're accessing the Domain
properly.
Help!
