xp Display

I have a XP machine that when it boots up it gets to the xp screen with the
scrolling green across the bottom then the disply goes black and nothing the
pc is still running but no video. Any run into this before and have a idea
how to fix this?

Have you tried SafeMode...tap the F8 key right after the boot screen.Pick
your choice of safe mode and see if it starts.
if it does you will need to reload/install your video card drivers....and
try again to boot XP normally.
If it does not start in SafeMode then I suspect a Video card problem....fan
