This is for a friend-of-a-friend, so I may not have
some relevant details. It seems that the user can
dial his ISP and establish a connection but TCP/IP
doesn't seem to be up - nothing shows up on his
browser (either Mozilla or IE).
I couldn't be of much help because it's been about
five years since I used dial-up and the details have
evaporated.
Does anyone have suggestions, aside from calling his
ISP's helpless desk at $1.95/minute? Or maybe the
network_web group would have more answers.
