XP comes with a desktop background called "ascent" showing a picture of a mountain. Does anyone know what mountain this is ?
Many thanks
Geoff.

I am not 100% certain, but I think it is Rainier.

Interesting! I've been to Seattle a half a dozen times and because of the
"beautiful" weather there have never seen more than the bottom third of
Ranier...right before it disappeared completely in the fog!

Cheers,

Your right Michael,
That's Rainer I would say late summer and probably taken at the "Sunrise
pass" rest stop/viewing place. I have one that is almost identical to it.
They had Mt.Baker on I believe either Win2000 or ME. Now all we need is a
picture of Whidbey island to go along with the product <g>

John,
On the great days that are clear, I think half the major roads around
here slow down as many locals have not seen it either, or so it
seems.....Sure looks nice at the moment !
