XP crashes after 10 mins or so even with no applications open

My computer has been running with no problens for a long time but latley it
has
started to crash after about 10 mins plus even when Idle and no applications
running. I have cleaned the fans and heat sinks done a nortons windisk doctor
and
Its still crashing and I have done a system restore back 3 months, still
crashing so
now I am trying to do a repair console but it dosn't recognize my addmin
password.
Please can any one help going mad now.

This will give you a chance to see what the error message is:
Right My Computer.
Select properties.
Uncheck Automatically Restart.

Also try this:
Click Start.
Click Control Panel.
Click Perfromance and Maintenance.
Click Administrative Tools.
Double click Event Viewer.
On the left, click System.
On the right look under the Type column for "Error".
Double click the error.
This will show you an error mmessage.

Have you checkd your power saving options, or has this been happening
when your computer is in use. Right click on
desktop>properties|screensaver>power.

Check out http://support.microsoft.com/kb/320299 Is that what you are
reciving?

Also check your electricity supply, it could be shortcurcuiting when
going through your power addapter.
Is it just your computer that goes off or is it all of your pheperials,
speakers monitor ect. If it is all of them it could be your addapter if
you use one.
