XP Crash during rendering

My XP operating system keeps crashing when undertaking the
Rendering phase withjin Pinnacle 8. This happens circa 3-4
hours into the process.

I've disabled all the usual virus scan, background tasks
etc.. to no avail.

Any ideas greatfully received

Pinnacle 8 was notoriously buggy and many people had trouble, genrally with
the make movie stage... although many also had success!!
It may be best to upgrade to Studio 9 which is much better on the whole, or
try programmes like tmpgenc to do the encoding for you. Free trial download
