XP connection question

Hello,

I have a windows 2000 laptop and a home pc with XP Home
edition, try to connect the two computers together,

when i try to connect from XP to 2000, there is no
problem, but when i try to connect from 2000 to XP it
says" no logon servers avaiable."

Can anyone help?

Do you have server authentication on the 2000 machine for a domain
