XP Components missing

I appear to have lost some XP components from my system. Such as disk
defragmenter, calculator, cd writing capability.

Is there a way to repair or reinstall them?

Did you look at Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools?

Add/Remove Windows Components in Control Panel? These should be installed
by default.
