XP Client browsing on 2k Server network - Slow

Hi all

My XP laptop logs onto the server fine, speed is good at log on and everything does what its suppost to

Checking the "ipconfig /all" all the correct info is in there for the client

Its when i come to browse the network, going into My Network Places, then entire network. Then Clicking the globe (MS Windows Network?) then clicking my domain.

It hangs on clicking MS Windows Network and also hangs when i click to enter my domain

Browsing the network on the servers is fine, speed is good and it all looks normall

2 X Windows 2000 Servers, PDC and BDC
1 X XP Pro Lapto

Any tips for streamlining the system and enabling what looks like an authentication hang? It gets through after a while but its annoying for XP users. Haven't tried a 2000 Client yet, but as i say, Servers browse fine

Any help appreciated

So the ipconfig/all shows that everything is pointing to the server-IP?

Have Personal Firewall turned off? Anything in the event logs?
