I tried to install service packs and a window pops up and says that my cd
code is not authentic and directs me to their piracy site. I know it is
authentic but don't have the original packaging or cd code (it's been over 2
years since obtaining it) so what can be done. I tried that jelly bean
site(whatever it is) and it gave me my cd code. Should I try to use another
code off of my two other computers?

Thanks

Hi,

Does your Product ID (not the Product Key) match the ones described here?

Error Message: The Product Key Used to Install Windows Is Invalid
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=326904

If it does, it means you were sold an illegal copy of the commonly
distributed volume license version. You will need to purchase a legal copy
before you do anything. The Jelly Bean utility just shows what key was used
to install the system which, if it was an illegal one, will not do much for
you other than verify this fact.

If you believe your code is indeed valid, see:
