XP can't format my scsi hd

Hello
My set up is a Scsi Hard Drive with Adaptec Card in new box I need a formatting utility to format the scsi Can anyone recommend?

went to install XP and it can't format the scsi drive I can see the HD so the card is workin Adaptec said XP SP1 has the bios drivers but when i try to install XP it just reboots after the reboot message

Before you can use the drive you need to create a partition on it. You may
want to first do a low level format this drive using the Adaptec own bios.
You can enter the bios area by pressing Control A during initial boot.
Depending on the version of the adapter, this may or may not be possible.
Once formatted here, you should be able to create a partition on this drive
using Disk Manager from within windows. Actually, the partition creation
maybe all you need to do. The low level format should be used as a last
resort.
