Last Wednesday morning I can downstairs to find an older dual Xeon Dell with
the following message:
STOP: 0x0000007B
(0xF7c46524,0xc0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)

I didn't change any of the hardware--but that machine is set to auto-install
patches and it was Patch Tuesday night that it stopped working. It doesn't
look like there are any other reports of this behavior. Anyone have any
suggestions before I go to the in-place upgrade? Any information I can pull
off this machine to help diagnose?

Hi JoshLTG,

A search of the Update newsgroup for recent postings regarding STOP:
0x0000007B yielded this
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...d8e7&mid=4e3380c7-9fa8-4d4b-be5e-09073d13c051

If the above doesn't lead to a resolution for your problem, perhaps post
your question to the Update newsgroup.....there may be another recent update
that is causing this problem:

microsoft.public.windowsupdate (newsreader)
