since patch tuesday i can't turn off screensaver in vista

since installing the patches on tuesday the windows logo screensaver keeps
enabling itself. i go in turn it off click apply then ok go back to screen
saver setting and it's turned on again. any ideas? i'm using vista home
premium x64 thanks

Turn on the bubbles screensaver and apply then reboot and turn it off, that
should stay with no screensaver.

i changed it to bubbles and rebooted and it kept the change but when i turned
off bubbles it turned the windows logo screensaver back on. arg this is the
only issue i've had with vista not a big deal at all but it's driving me nuts
