A couple of weeks ago I posted a question about XP
stalling on bootup. Since then I've seen several similar
posts, but no definitive answer. In these cases, the
computer will boot to a point (all icons on Desktop), but
the tray takes another 1-2 minutes to finish loading and
render the computer operational. Evidently this is a
condition that just starts one day, seemingly with no
provocation. Nothing else seems irregular, the computer
runs fine once it's up and going. Any ideas?
