XP Boot Failure

I've installed XP Home Edition on a new P4 3.0Ghz system.
After a successful, clean install from the XP CD the
system attempts to re-boot but fails with the following
message "Boot failure, install boot disk and press
enter". If I install the XP CD it starts Setup and begins
a new installation. I have verified that XP is on the
hard drive. Any suggestions ?

Go into the BIOS and be sure you've set the system to boot from the hard
drive.
