XP Best Practices for Standalone (New Dell XPS 630)

I just recently purchased an XPS 630 from Dell. I am attempting to avoid
certain mistakes/oversights which I made with my previous machine which also
ran XP. For example, the best way to setup user accounts on a standalone pc
or which services can I disable running a standalone.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find a step-by-step or some kind
of cheat sheet that can help? Thanks much for any assistance.

Wouldn't overthink things too much. Windows XP is a pretty straight-forward
operating system and runs fairly well without a lot of tweaking/futzing.

Thanks a bunch. I do have a tendency to overthink things, so thanks also for
the nudge :)
