XP: background printing, is NOT really background printing anymore

the best feature so far, is that I can post a message
to this group fairly easily going through my help screen.
And even this, I have to click a dozen times first...

Now, background printing, is NOT really background
printing anymore here in XP. If I send a document to
the printer, there is NOTHING I can do to this document
till queuing completes. I can go to other applications,
but on this same one, not a shot.

Use outlook express to read the newsgroups instead of the web page
interface and you wont have to jump thru hoops to get here.

Choose the open with news reader link.

Now, background printing, is NOT really background

Go into your printer properties and make sure spooling is turned on.
