XP auto update keeps restarting my PC!!

Here is the situation:

I've fresh installed XP Pro.

It asks for 2 auto updates:
- Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1
- Update for Windows XP (KB898461)

I installed both the above and restarted my PC. Everything is nice and
clean up to here.

Then XP's auto updater presents me with another update list:
- Critical Update for Windows XP (KB886185)
- Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer (KB896727)
- Cumulative Security Update for Outlook Express (KB923694)
- Security Update for Flash Player (KB923789)
- Security Update for Windows Media Player (KB923689)
- Security Update for Windows Media Player Plug-in (KB911564)
- Security Update for Windows XP ((((( THERE ARE MANY OF
THESE ))))))
- Windows Genuine Advantage Notification (KB905474)
- Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - February 2007 (KB890830)

Now when I install these updates (except for Windows Genuine Adv
Notification) and restart my PC, it cannot enter into my XP
installation. All it gets to is the Windows XP logo in the startup and
after that, it keeps rebooting. I've reinstalled XP several times
since this Monday and I haven't been able to figure out what is
causing this. Is any of the above auto updates causing this problem?
Is there a fix for this? Please help ASAP.

I am installing XP with SP2 on NTFS partition
