XP auto printer

Does anyone know of a way to turn the auto printer function off. I have users, not part of the domain, but they come into the office to use the internet and are setup to print directly to IP address of the printer. What occurs is, 4 to 5 auto printers are created that causes user issues, plus it is quite annoying
