XP Auto Boots up

I upgraded my 98SE to Home XP. Everything works well.
However, it turns itself on. The first 2 times I blamed it
on my grandson, the 3rd time I carefully turned it off, a
few days later (no one in the house but me) it turned on
again. I've now unplugged the machine, but has anyone
heard of this? And is there some kind of fix? I hate to
plug and unplug when I want to use it.

This machine is not hooked up to the internet. It passed
all the requirements for updating and everything else
seems to work fine.

Searched this site and couldn't find anything.

Boot into your BIOS and disable "Wake on Lan & Wake on
Ring"
