XP and the internet

Hi there,

Just got an IBM Thinkpad G40 series with XP Professional.
Connecting to the internet with virgin.net in the UK.

Having a nightmare with it. Hotmail does not work and its also hit
and miss with a variety of other sites too. No idea whats upsetting
it.

Also, when I try and publish a FrontPage2000 web, I get an error 'the
server unexpectedly closed the connection'.

A bit of surfing has suggested these are not unusual prblems.
However, I'm not sure how to fix them.

Had none of this with Win2000!

Contact virgin.net reg. FrontPage errors. Make Sure they have proper server extensions installed.
