XP and help

I am using Windows XP profesional edition. When I click
on start, help + support, nothing happens.
Can somebody tell me why? Does anybody care?

If Windows Update does not work either or you are unable to get anti-virus
upadtes too, there is a good chance that you have a virus infection..
