XP and AOL 9.0

First, let me say I DO NOT like XP! My experience has not
good.
My current issue is this: When I am logged onto the
internet thru my AOL account the XP Start Windows pops up
over and over and over and finally my internet connection
is lost. I am so frustrated by this I could spit nails!
Please, someone give me some advice!

Let me get this straight...

You DON"T like Windows XP and you use AOL?

That explains it all.

BTW...the pop ups are not coming from Windows XP. They are coming from AOL,
and since AOL has chosen to make it's software incompatible with the Windows
Firewall just so it CAN continue to send pop-ups to your computer, your
issue is with AOL and not Windows XP.

AOL is the single worst piece of malware that anyone could put on their
computer. Do yourself a favor and get rid of AOL and get a real ISP. You
won't ever regret it.
And, as an added benefit, people will no longer snicker behind your back
because they know you are an AOL user.
