XP activation and SP2 upgrade

I'm trying to download the SP2 upgrade from the infamous microsoft website.
However, it keeps saying that there is an unknown error in my xp activation.
Windows XP is clearly activated on my PC (I sat on the phone with MS for 30
minutes this afternoon only to have them confirm this).

Any ideas?

Should I just order the free SP2 CD and circumvent the website download?

Thanks!

It might be the easiest way out of your apparent dilemma, especially
if your PC does not already have SP1 installed.

Try this link for the download:

Good luck
