xp access denied

hi,
i am trying to run msconfig from the run command but
everytime i do i get a message say access denied try
using an administration account. my pc is hooked to a win
2000 server domain but i am in the admin group.
 
You need to check the group policies for your domain. It sounds as if MSCONFIG.EXE is in the list of disallowed application.
