XLS to CSV Exporting to Outlook

John

I am trying to export a xls file from Excel 2007 to Outlook 2007. How the
heck do you convert it to a csv? I used to do it in the Y2K version of
office!
Thanks in advance!

I don't use 2007 but can't you just do a File>Save As *.csv in Excel?

I wish it was that easy, There is no option to save it to a csv file with
2007. I even went to the "other file formats" and it was not there.
Hmmmmmm
Two Microsoft products that can't talk to each other.
The term "MAC" will start sounding good if I can't fix this.
Oh Yea, not to mention my O.E. spell checker that is now in "French Only"
because the MS programs don't work with each other.....Wow

I'm sure that by now you've figured out that Excel 2007 does have the 'save
as CSV' option? If not, click on that Vista-type circle and click on 'Save
As'. You'll be asked for a File name and below that 'Save as type:' change
that to 'CSV - comma delimited' or whatever other file type you like.

Are you sure? Maybe you have a bad install.

When I select the Office Button
Save As
Other Formats
In the dialog box that opens, amongst the many file types
listed is csv.
