HI Everyone,

I have a user that tries to download a xls file from my site -they hit
save or open - the download starts but it just goes and goes. The file
is only 30K. I have put a zip file on the same place in the server.
When the user trys to download the zip they have no problems. (example
www.test.com/go.xls does not work - www.test.com/go.zip does work).

I have walked through the options in the advanced tab and the users
are the same as mine (and it works fine for me).

I have also made sure that the users xls extension was in Windows
Explorer -> tools -> folder options - file list. The user can open and
save Xls docs using Excel ok.

I also made the user delete their temp internet files.

Does anyone have any idea if there is another option somewhere in IE6
that I am missing that could make this work for the user?

Thanks in Advance,
Joe

Figured out my problem. It was becasue of a proxy server in the LAN Settings.
Only thing that I did not check. Hope this helps someone else.
