xfx nvidia geforce 7950 GX2 Extreme Edition

So I got my hands on a pretty little card that's really just 2 in one. I'm not so knowledgable about how to set it up with my computer. I know I need a power supply for it, (at least I'm pretty sure I do) but not which one. Is there a specific type of power supply I need for my micro-btx system? How common is it to overheat these cards? Just curious on its lifespan. Any experts with the intel core 2 duo?
