Xerox scanner

Been usin scanner for nearly a year now, one day pc decides to tell me that
it ''cant find scanner''. Uninstalled the hardware, tried to reinstall it but
now it wont install.Comes up with message saying ''THE FILE VICEO.DLL ON
XEROX PNP DRIVERS IS NEEDED TYPE THE PATH WHERE THE FILE IS LOCATED AND CLICK
OK''. What the h**l does the mean. Pleae help me I only want to use my
scanner.

It means exactly what it says - if you can't understand plain English, there
really is no hope for you.

I suspect your driver 'viceo.dll' is corrupted or missing. If you received
any software on disk when you purchased your scanner you probably will have
to reinstall that driver. Otherwise, I'm sure Xerox will supply you with
the appropriate file(s) and give you info. about reinstalling.

Then navigate to your particular scanner model.

Your problem is fairly common with all types of peripherals and all
