xerox printer driver

2 months before getting this vista powered laptop i purchased a new xerox
docuprint laser printer sadly the driver disk wont allow it to be used in
vista
I went online and downloaded a driver from the xerox site which vista wont
allow me to install
I spent today searching again for drivers only to find all reference to this
printer has been removed from the xerox site
Any suggestions for generic drivers that may work?

Unfortunately, if Xerox has not got a Vista compatible driver for their
Printer, no-one would.
Was it in their brand name, or HP,etc.

Why I ask, is because they sell other manufacturer's products.

IF there is a 32 bit XP driver and you are using 32 bit Vista the XP driver
MAY work.

You lose nothing for trying it.

had success I found a driver after install the printer still wouldnt work i
went to the printers folder and saw it had been listed twice i set printer
xerox*****(1) as default its now running
For others with the printer the drivers name dp203a_V3_pcl_v325
