x800xl agp pixel pipelines

I just got my x800xl 256 agp and it works great. Over 5000 in 3dmark 05,
double the score of my 9800 pro. I was just wondering if the agp version
of this card has the 16 pipelines enabled like the pci-e version. Also
is there some utility that can tell me all these things about my video
card, such as how many pipelines are enabled?

Yes, and search Google for RivaTuner.

Some X800XL's can also be 'flashed' to an X850.

Cool, thanks for the link. Is there any difference between the 800xl and
the 850 besides the clock speeds? Is it the same core and features? In
other words could I just use the rivatuner to OC my card to 850 specs
without having to flash it?

Yes. (Now that I re-read your post, you have the X800 XL,
not Pro, so you already have 16 pipes enabled not 12. Forget
about the bios flash

What do you think with the score you got there it enough.

I dont really care about the actual number. It might be a bit low but
for my system, 939 sempron 3400+, Its probably ok. I just know that its
double the score of my old card on my machine. Thats really whats
important.And of course that I can now play Need for speed most wanted
with all the settings maxed out without stutters and such. Considering
what I paid for this card,$140, Im thrilled to death with the score.

I wouldNt flash the bios for one that support other feature in some
others hardware x800xl vs x850 is not the same thing.

in game do you experience FPS slowing down when there is a lot of
police car chasing you?

And for your system i don't think that you can have more from what
you got. It is all the system that will affect the 3d score or the fps
but that in game it's barely noticeable.

No, Ive had plenty of cops chasing me without any noticeable slowdown.
Of course when I ram the roadblocks it slows down a bit, hehe
