Hi,

Recently, I found this Wutemp folder. So I moved some
zipped files under this Wutemp folder. But next day, I
suddenly found out all the files are gone. Can you help
how I can get those important zipped files back? I used R-
Delete software to search. but they are not even shown as
Un-deleted files. What happened?

This folder is usually where windowsupdates
files go to, while you're updating Windows Tony.

As soon as the updates have been installed. If
you dont copy them elsewhere, they'll disappear
as soon as the site has finished installing the updates.

When did you move them? While you were
updating Windows?

Thanks for your feedback. I only recalled that I moved some zipped files into that directory. And next day or two when I went back to WUTemp folder, all data files are gone. I can't recall if window has done any updaye since I moved the files there
I tried to use un-delete software, but I can't see any similar filenames like *.zip from un-delete software. Very strange
