WUTemp directory

Is the WUTemp directory in win2000 a directory with only temp files that are
safe to delete periodically. Usually this folder has been empty but today I
find the following 1meg file in it: JournalViewer1.5_KB886179_ENU.exe


Is it safe and advisable to periodically delete the contents of this folder

Yeah I would delete it just look like the installation of of the journal
viewer or the update for it

This "WUTemp" folder is a temporary location for Windows Updatge use to
download file from Microsoft and perform installation later on. It's usual
that some files remain there especially if there is downloaded patch file
but not yet installed.

Although it will have no big harm, it's not too good to manually delete
anythning from this folder except there is serious disk space shortage.
