Outlook PST in WINDOWS/WUTEMP?

W

Whacked

Hi,

As Administrator on a Windows XP Professional machine, I deleted the
contents of C:\WINDOWS\WUTEMP. Now one of my users can't access there
pst file and I can't find it anywhere. Did Outlook really create her
default pst file in that folder? The only other user on that computer
(with Admin privilages) has their pst file in C:\Documents and
Settings\Username\LocalSettings\..........

help!? Any way to recover.

Not by default, it didn't....

PST files can be placed anywhere - but it wouldn't have gone to the WUTEMP
folder by default.

Try www.undelete.com or similar - quickly before the PC has been used much.

..PST files tend to be located in hidden folders in Windows XP -- when you
search for all .PST files, make sure to include hidden folders in the search
parameters.
