wupdater.exe

Im using XP Home, and when I shut my pc down, without fail I get a message telling me that "wupdater.exe" is not responding and I have click on "end now" to fully shut my pc down. I dont what this file is for, and strangely enough when I do a search for it XP wont find it, but it is listed in the task manager.Any help to combat this happening would be appreciated

It seems as though you have a parasite on your system.

Try all of the following programs to see if there is any spyware on your system:
