hi ive recently rebuilt my hardrive installed win2k got
all the updates but now when i shut down i get an error of
wupdater.exe not responding, any help regaurding this
issue would be great, thanks simmie
 
This is a trojan/virus. Do you have any antivirus software
installed or spyware software like Lavasoft Adware ?
If not your best solution is to install Lavasoft and run
it. Or else shut down your pc, reboot and go into safe
mode and remove wupdate.exe. But this will only be a
temporary fix until you install antivirus/spyware software.

wupdate.exe is one of the variants of the spybot.gen worm.
