Wrong path for .PST file

When installing Outlook I think I put the wrong path for the .PST file and
now when I try to open Outlook I can't. I get the message "There is no disk
in the drive please insert a disk into the drive" and it gives me the option
Cancel/Try Again/Continue. No matter what option I choose the next message is
always "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook
window. The set of folders could not be opened. The server is not available.
Contact your adminstrator if this condition persists".
Well, I am the administrator of this LAN and the .PST folder is normally
inside the Documents & settings/user/application data/microsoft/outlook. But
now even if I manually put it there Outlook will still not open. I also tried
uninstalling and reinstalling and it did not work.
What can I do?

Try modifying your mail profile using the Mail applet in Control Panel so that it points to the correct file.

Try the Mail Applet in the control panel.
Create a profile, set it to prompt, and add your pst to this.
You can also create and test your email accounts there
