Windows Vista wrong OS or OS version for application Vista Home Premium

I have a DELL XPS that came with Home Vista Premium preloaded. I am trying to install a Cisco VPN5 to connect remotely from home to my work pc.

When I ran the installing program (isntmsiW) I get the following error message:
"Wrong OS or OS version for application"

I called DELL and they told that I need to have the VPN software version to be compatible to Windows Vista Home Premium.

I talked to the guys I.T department at work & they told me that the file they provide is the only version for Vista they have.

Can somebody please help?
