I just did a new hard disk install and chose American
English for the language but a Danish Keyboard, as I am
living in Denmark. When the install was finished I saw
that it has installed a standard keyboard. How do I
change this to a Danish layout in XP-Home? TIA

Find the Regional and Lanuage Settings in Control Panel, then go to
Languages Tab, Details Button and add in a Danish Keyboard and make it
default.

Go to Control Panel - Regional And Language Options. Take the Language
page and click Details.
There if you do not see Danish under Keyboard for English in the lower
pane, click on Add, check the Keyboard/IME check box, and search for it
in the lower drop down, so you have English and Danish those two panes.
Click OK. Then in the parent page, select this combination in the
Default Input language in the top drop down, Apply, OK and Apply any
time it is available on the way as you OK out. Then close and restart
to bring it into use.
