wrong encoding / webmail exchange server

Hi

Our Exchange Webmail is in utf-8 encoded. you can see it in the source code of the page. However, all Internet Explorer (everywhere) encode that page as a Western Europe iso which causes problems with our german umlauts.
Well I can manually change the encoding but I have to do this on every page and freshly opened window.
What can i do? the Exchange Webmailclient is so not usable.

It may be a good idea to refer this to an Exchange newsgroup; there may be a
known issue that the Exchange specialists know about, that we don't.
