wrong address popping up

here's the thing. i have "carol" in my address book but
when i type "carol" to send a message i get the little pop
up ask if i want (e-mail address removed) or carolss@hotmail. com.
well, i want (e-mail address removed) the other is not in my
address book, contact list, not anywhere. how can i
delete it permantly so i dont have to choose each time i
email to "carol".

assuming that you are using outlook 2002, when outlook suggest the names,
use the arrow key to highlight the name you don't want and press the delete
key.
