Hello,

A friend of mine has a very funny problem. She is using Outlook 2003,
Win XP through Comcast cable link. Her Outlook works find. She sends and
recieves messages without a problem. But if somebody just replies without
typeing her address explicitly, their message is not delivered since the
reply address is slightly wrong. This address was at some poiunt entered
Outlook by mistake, and I cannot find where it is. I removed her comcast
email account from Outlook and setup it fresh and I used regedit to clean
registry from the wrong reply address without success. How can I get rid off
this wrong address for replies? If I use Outlook Express with the same
settings there is no problem. Please help.

Thank you.

If you changed her e-mail and/or reply address settings in her mail account
in Outlook, that's it. Have her send you an email message and look at the
internet headers.

The reply e-mail address was most likely incorrectly
entered on the mail server. You will need to contact the
mail server administrator (or ISP) and have them correct
your reply address. I can't be done at the client level.

Possibly, but highly unlikely, since it is the client that determines the
reply address.
