writing zeros

I am trying to write zeros to my drive for reinstallation of my OS, repair is
not working for me.

Last time I did this was some time ago with help from microsoft but it's
gonna cost me now and I have forgotten the way, any help finding an FAQ or
how-to would be great.

That tool will help for the most part...

One more ?....Will I just have to insert the OS disk to re-install the OS
after the drive is clean?

dah... i think you will have no choice.

Keep in mind that if it is an upgrade disk, you will "NEED" to have or prove
of your ownership of a windows o.s. product.....
