writing persian on XP Pro..

Happy new year 2 you all:)

Hi,

I have a XP Pro with norwegian setup and would like to activate the
persian(farsi) font!
Do I need any additional installation or is it possible to activate the
language? How?

Hello Hayati,

Try going to control panel, "Regional and Language options", click on
the "languages" tab, check the "install files for complex script" box
and then click "details" and that should get you where you can use the
appropriate language. I believe this is how gained Arabic and French
language support. Hope this helps...
