writing numbers in Arabic

You do that in Windows. In Vista it is this way, in XP it is similar.

Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options

On the front page, you choose the language for numbers, dates,
currency, ...

There are many choices for Arabic.

Then use the Customize button to adjust them to your liking.
