Writing Macro(s) in PowerPoint

I know NOTHING. I want, however, to write a macro in PowerPoint that can do
the following:
-Add a new slide in my presentation
-Select my slide
-Change the presentation to slide sorter view
-Add text into the title of the slide
-Set the slide timing and transition effect
-Apply a preset tetxture to the slide
-Start the slide show
I do not know (even) WHERE to start as the HELP button on PP does not give
information helpful to me. I do not know even WHERE TO START
