writing a script to setup a printer

Could someone please help. I need to know how to write a
script that will setup printers. My goal is to have the
person be able to connect to printers from any computer
they log into.

Are you wanting to setup the printers via a print server
or with striaght ip printing? I have some scripts to add
printers that can be modified to work in a login script
for host name printing. The problem you run into is that
you need to check for port availability and then add the
port if needed then the printer. Or you can make it
delete all port then add the printer. Give more details
or leave an email address if you want a zip of these
scripts.

my email is (e-mail address removed). It most likley will be off

a print server. It could be direct IP if there are no
security risk. Thanks for the quick response
