WPA + Norton Ghost

hello everyone...

i just bought a WinXP Pro with SP2 integrated and i'm curious about one
thing before i make an install on my laptop.

is it possible to install winxp, activate it, make a norton ghost image and
then when i format my HD, restore from that image without need to activate
winxp again?

will it remain activated?

I have restored images to my hard drive several times. I never have to
activate it again. All the information that changes because of
activation will still be all the information that you restore. However,
that only applies if the drive image is restored onto the same host from
which it was created. If you attempt to restore to a different host,
enough hardware may change to trigger the activation event.

ok. thanks for the info... because i heard that if you format your harddrive
that will be enough to trigger WPA.
