would like to put pics on folders

Hello,

I would like to add a picture to a folder's icon, so that instead of just
seeing a yellow box icon for a folder it shows a picture on it.

rofl, "yellow box icon" is a illustration of a file folder, as used in
offices for many years.

The easiest way is to rename a picture folder.jpg and place it in the
folder. You can convert it with MSPaint if you need to.
 
Hi Jerry,

I tried the two links you suggested; the first installs but doesn't seem to
work and the second - d/ls are no longer available from that (or other)
sites. But I found out in XP what I was wanting to do, which was actually to
put a pic on a thumbnail. :)
